Most people sign in to the Liftify client portal without a password. You enter your email address, Liftify emails you a one-time sign-in link, and clicking that link signs you in.

  1. Go to the Liftify sign-in page. You’ll see Welcome back and Sign in to your account.
  2. Type your work email into Email address and click Continue.
  3. The page now says Signing in as followed by your email. Click Send Magic Link.
  4. You’ll be returned to the sign-in page with the message “We’ve sent a magic link to your email. Click the link to sign in.”
  5. Open the email titled Your Liftify Client Portal Login Link and click Sign In to Client Portal. If the button doesn’t work in your email app, copy the web address printed underneath it and paste it into your browser.
  6. You land in the portal with the message “Successfully signed in”.
If you mistyped your email at step 2, click ← Use a different email and start again.
If you see Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft at step 3, you can use those instead. See Sign in with Google or Microsoft.
The link expires 48 hours after it’s sent. The email spells out the exact date and time under Security Notice, along with a reminder that the link is meant to be used once. There’s no limit on how many links you can request. If yours has expired or you’ve already used it, just go back to the sign-in page and send yourself a new one.
Anyone who has the link can sign in as you. Don’t forward the email or paste the link into a shared chat.

Your first sign-in

When someone adds you to a Liftify account, you get an email titled You’ve been invited to Liftify Client Portal. The sign-in link in that email works the same way as a magic link. There’s no password to set up.

Messages you might see

“Invalid or expired link. Please request a new one.” — the link is past its expiry or has already been used. Request a fresh one from the sign-in page. “No client account found with that email” — that address isn’t set up in Liftify. Check for a typo, or ask whoever manages users on your account to add you. “Please enter a valid email address” — the address wasn’t in a recognisable format. “Your account requires sign-in with Google or Microsoft. Please use one of the SSO options below.” — your organization has turned off email links. Use the Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft button instead. “Your account has been deactivated. Please contact your administrator.” — your user has been switched off. Someone with user permissions on your account can turn it back on. “Your account is not yet associated with any organization. Please contact your administrator.” — your user exists but isn’t attached to a Liftify account yet. “Your organization’s account is inactive. Please contact your Liftify account manager.” — the whole Liftify account has been deactivated. Contact your account manager. “Login is temporarily unavailable. Please try again shortly.” — a temporary problem on Liftify’s side. Wait a moment and try again. If you’re stuck, email support@liftify.com.
