A QR code gives a customer standing in front of you a one-scan route to leave a review — on a truck door, an invoice, a counter sign, a leave-behind card. Liftify makes the code, tracks how often it is scanned, and lets you point it at one of your review channels or at your Liftify review page.

Create the QR code

  1. Click QR Codes in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Create QR Code.
  3. Fill in the form on the left. The panel on the right is a live Preview that redraws as you type.
  4. Click Create QR Code at the bottom of the form. You will see the message “QR code created.” and land on the QR code’s own page.

Name

Name is an optional label so you can tell your codes apart later — the placeholder suggests “e.g., Front Door Sign, Summer Campaign”. Leave it blank and the card in the list shows the destination address instead. You do not have to fill this in yourself. When you pick a location and a destination, Liftify fills the name in for you with the destination’s name. As soon as you type your own name in the box, Liftify stops overwriting it.

Location and destination

Location (optional) decides what you can point the code at.
  • Pick a location and the Destination list fills with that location’s published review channels, plus Liftify Landing Page at the top and Custom URL at the bottom. Choosing one fills in the Destination URL and locks it.
  • Leave it on No location and the only destination is Custom URL — you type the web address yourself in Destination URL.
Liftify Landing Page points the code at your Liftify review page for that location. Which review channels appear on that page, and how it looks, is set up by Liftify — not something you edit yourself. Ask support if it needs to change.
Only review channels that have been published show up in the Destination list. Review channels are set up by Liftify. If a location’s list is short or empty, that is why.

Short URL

Liftify shortens the destination so the printed code stays simple and so scans can be counted. When you pick a destination from the list this happens on its own. If you typed a Custom URL, click Shorten URL to do the same thing — the shortened address then shows above the form next to Original:. Every QR code gets its own short address, so two codes pointing at the same page still count their scans separately.
Once a QR code is saved, its short address is fixed and cannot be changed — the page shows it as Short URL: when you edit. You can still change where that address sends people by editing Destination URL, which means a code already printed on a sign keeps working. But you cannot swap the printed code itself for a different short address.

Style the code

Everything below the destination is appearance only, and every change shows up in Preview straight away.
  • Show Frame — a border around the code with a line of text above it. Turn it off for a bare code.
  • Header Text — the words in that frame, up to 50 characters. The placeholder is “SCAN ME”. This box is greyed out while Show Frame is off.
  • Custom Logo — click Upload Image to put your own image in the middle of the code. PNG, JPEG, or WEBP, up to 2 MB. If you upload nothing, the box tells you what will be used instead: Using location logo, Using account logo, or No logo. On a saved code you can click Replace Image, or Remove saved logo to drop back to the fallback.
  • QR Color and Background Color — click the colour square to pick a colour, or type a hex value into the box beside it.
  • Dot Shape — the shape of the code’s dots: Square, Circle, Rounded, Star, or Smooth.
Scanners need strong contrast between QR Color and Background Color, and a logo that covers too much of the code can stop it scanning. Always scan the finished code with a phone before you send it to a printer.
The Preview panel only appears on wider screens. On a phone or a narrow window you will not see it while you edit.

Download and print

Open a QR code from the QR Codes list — click View on its card — and use the buttons under the image.
  • Download offers Download PNG, Download JPG, and Download SVG. Choose SVG for anything a printer will enlarge: signs, vehicle wraps, banners. PNG or JPG is fine for email and on-screen use.
  • Print opens a print-ready page with the code centred and starts your browser’s print dialog.
  • Customize reopens the form so you can change the styling or the destination.
  • Delete removes the code. Anything already printed with it stops working, so be careful.
The same Download, Edit, and Delete buttons appear on each card in the QR Codes list, so you do not have to open a code to grab the file again.

See how often a code is scanned

A QR code’s page has a Scan Statistics panel with Total Scans and Last Scanned. Each card in the list also shows its scan count. Because each code has its own short address, you can print two versions — one on the invoice, one on the truck — and see which one people actually use.

Find a code again

The QR Codes list holds every code on the account, newest first.
  • Search QR codes… searches by name.
  • Location filters to one or more locations, or to No location.
  • The sort button offers Newest first, Oldest first, Name (A–Z), Name (Z–A), Recently updated, and Least recently updated.
When you filter to a single location that has no QR code for its review page yet, a banner offers Create one — that starts a new code already pointed at that location’s review page.
