Instead of opening the Reviews page every Monday and filtering it the same way, have Liftify email that view to you. A scheduled report re-runs your filters at the moment it sends, so the numbers are always current.
The people who receive the report do not need to open Liftify to read it.
Create a schedule
- Go to Reviews and set the filters you want the report to cover — location, rating, source, reply status, and so on.
- Click Export at the top right, then Schedule report.
- Fill in the panel, headed Schedule report.
- Click the save button at the bottom. Liftify confirms with “Scheduled report created.”
The filters you had on screen are carried into the schedule. Under Reporting window the panel names them back to you — “Also filtering by rating and location. Change these on the Reviews page.” To change them, go back to Reviews, set the filters you want, and start again.
The fields
Recipients and Sharing are two different things and it is easy to conflate them. Recipients decides who receives the emailed report. Sharing decides who can see and manage the schedule inside Liftify. Someone can receive the report without being able to see the schedule, and the other way round.
Reporting window is always relative — “the last 7 days”, counted from the day each report goes out. The panel says so: “Each send covers this window, counted from the day it goes out.”That means a specific start and end date cannot be carried over from the Reviews page: pinning every future send to the same two dates would send you the same report forever. If you had a custom date range on screen, Liftify picks the fixed-length window closest to it, so check what Reporting window actually says before you save.
Find, edit and delete your schedules
Click Export on the Reviews page, then Scheduled reports. That menu item is the only route to the list.
Each row shows the schedule’s name, its cadence and format on one line (“Weekly on Monday at 9:00 AM · Formatted report”), then who it is shared with, how many recipients it has, and — on a schedule somebody else made — Shared by their name.
- Edit reopens the panel as Edit schedule. Saving confirms “Scheduled report updated.”
- Delete asks “Delete this scheduled report?” first, then confirms “Scheduled report deleted.”
Only the person who created a schedule can edit or delete it, the same as saved views. On somebody else’s schedule you see the row but no buttons — ask them to change it.
New schedule at the top of the page creates one without any filters carried from the Reviews page. Back to Reviews returns you to the list.
With none set up you get No scheduled reports yet — “Schedule a report from the Export menu on the Reviews page to have it emailed on a cadence.”
What arrives
The email is headed Review Report, names the filters and the window it covers underneath, and leads with the number of reviews in it. If the window turned up nothing, the report still arrives and says so rather than going quiet.
Troubleshooting
There is no Export menu on the Reviews page. Scheduling rides the same permission as exporting: your role needs Export review data. Ask whoever manages your Liftify users.
A recipient stopped getting the report. Recipients only receive reviews they are allowed to see. If someone’s access was narrowed, or they were removed from the account, they are dropped from that send.
The report covers a different period than I expected. Check Reporting window on the schedule. It is relative to each send, not the dates you had on the Reviews page when you created it.
I can’t find a schedule a colleague mentioned. You only see schedules you own or that have been shared with you. Ask them to share it, under Sharing on their schedule.
